IDG not concerned about Adobe/Belkin bailing on Macworld Expo
Even though Adobe, Belkin, and several other companies have announced their intention to back out of January’s Macworld Expo in San Francisco, IDG World Expo, the company behind the conference isn’t worried.
A spokesperson for the company told The Industry Standard that Adobe "will still be actively participating in the event" and that "every year [IDG sees] a certain percentage of exhibitors pull out of the even for their own business reasons. In this economic climate, it shouldn’t be a surprise to see this."
The company goes on to state that this year’s expo will be similar in size to last year’s event.
