Filemaker's Bento for iPhone puts the database in your pocket.

Apple’s wholey-owned Filemaker group has announced an iPhone version of its personal database tool, Bento (iTunes Link).  While we don’t quite have the motivation or the OCD to make databases of our daily lives, we know lots of people who can find a lot of utility in this great little $4.99 app.  According to Filemaker:

Bento for iPhone and iPod touch is the portable version of the wildly popular personal database from FileMaker – that’s easy to use as your iPhone!

It’s never been easier to organize all the details of your busy life – in
one iPhone application that works seamlessly with Bento 2.

Bento to go

Now your Bento information will always be at your fingertips in an incredibly cool and easy-to-use application designed specifically for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Get instant access to details when you’re away from your Mac. View libraries and collections, create new records, edit details, sort data, modify forms – even use the iTunes-style search to find information quickly when you’re on the go.
