Latest Steve Note promises better PDF management in iBooks app
We know you’ve lost sleep waiting for it — now it looks like Steve Jobs is waving his wand to make sure you gonna get it, unleashing a recent Steve Note which promised a new feature is “coming”.
He’s so terse.
What’s the feature?
Well you know you can read PDFs in the iBooks app, and store them in there too? Seems soon you’ll be able to store your PDFs in folders on your virtual bookshelf. Just like those folders full of collected paperwork you may keep on your real bookshelf. I wonder if you’ll read the virtual ones more often, though.
(This does mean some form of slimline/transparent support for hierarchical file structures within iOS, however, which could be an interesting development).
