Apple confirms German's Altmarkt store, grand opening this Thursday

Remember Apple’s upcoming retail store in Dresden’s suburban mall we told you about? Today the company confirmed on its German retail site plans to officially open this store on Thursday, March 31, at 8am. Matter of fact, grand opening is being planned throughout the weekend, with extended store hours from Thursday (8am to 10pm) to Friday (9:30am to 10pm) and Saturday (9:30am to 12am).

Beginning with April 4, the store will resume normal working hours between Monday-Saturday from 9:30am to 9pm. Spyshots from German site iFun.de, seen below, reveal the Genius bar and all the bells and whistles you’d come to expect from a high-profile Apple store. The company’s fifth retail spot in Germany is located on the ground floor of Dresden’s suburban, high-trafficked shopping mall in Altmarkt Galerie (Old Market Gallery). It will carry the full product lineup, sources say. The retail area is on the ground floor and the offices and workshop space are on the second floor. Apple is also expected to open new stores shortly in Italy, Paris, Palo Alto and even Anchorage, Alaska.
