Apps and updates: Angry Birds, Infinity Blade, Temple Run, Magic 2013, and DOOM sale

A slew of apps updated today, and 9to5Mac gathered the most noteworthy ones in our regular round up below. Today’s crop includes new additions to popular iOS games, including an app going Retina and some sales, and we will continue to update this list throughout the day.

Angry Birds by Clickgamer.com for iOS | 99 cents
Version 2.2.0 hit today with 15 new tropical levels and four special power-ups to help “three-star even the most challenging levels.” Free power-ups are available to those who check back daily. Angry Birds is rated 4.5-stars with over 795,000 user reviews as of press time.

The Apple Store App got updated today with the option to have Pages, Keynote and Numbers pre-installed on any MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac or Mac Pro as well as Performance enhancements to make it easier to shop for Apple products on the go.

Angry Birds HD by Chillingo for iPad received the same update, but it costs $2.99 and it is rated 4.5-stars with over 69,000 user reviews as of press time.

Infinity Blade by Chair Entertainment Group for iOS | $2.99
Version 1.3 landed today with “Contact Pack #3”, new enemies, a Solar Transport Energy Blade weapon, more than 30 new items, and additional “surprises” and achievements. The popular games also just received a price cut, as 9to5Toys detailed, with a 57-percent total savings. Infinity Blade is rated 4.5-stars with over 83,000 user reviews as of press time.

Temple Run by Imangi Studios for iOS | Free
Version 1.5 rolled out yesterday, while announcing 100 million downloads worldwide, and it added high-res graphics for the retina iPad, a new powerup, the ability to disable and enable individual power ups, more achievements, and bug fixes. Temple Run is rated 4.5-stars with over 1,397,000 user reviews as of press time.

Magic 2013 By Wizards of the Coast | Free
Version 1.0.1 includes performance tuning, detailed messages to explain how save data interacts with Game Center, and changes to the way some things work, including: Yeva, Nature’s Herald now has 4 toughness, enchanting a creature with Mind Control correctly applies “summoning sickness,” and etc. Magic 2013 is rated 4.5-stars with over 11,000 user reviews as of press time.

Evernote for Mac version 3.3: Evernote’s Mac client received a huge update today that brings the ability to switch between a free account and as many premium accounts as you want without needing to sign out, as well as LinkedIn sharing features, new keyboard shortcuts for strikethroughs and adding dates, and checkbox improvements. You can get all the details on the developer’s blog here. Mac App Store users will also get the last update which includes activity stream and Retina support.

DOOM games for iPhone and iPad | Sale
As 9to5Toys noted, DOOM II RPG went to 99 cents from its regular price of $2.99. DOOM Resurrection and DOOM Classic further slashed $4 from their price tags to 99 cents each.
