Duo Gamer to release wireless game controller for iDevices

Today Duo Gamer announced “Gamer Controller” for Apple iDevices. The game controller will attempt to bring a more console-esque gaming experience to mobile Apple devices. The controller connects via bluetooth allowing the user to “kick-back” and really settle into their gaming session. Duo Gamer partnered with Gameloft on this project and as a result this controller set will only work on the Gameloft iOS titles including: Asphalt 7: Heat, Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation, Order & Chaos Online, Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front, and N.O.V.A. 3.

The controller layout is reminiscent of old NES or Playstation gaming pads with dual thumb-sticks, a D-pad and 6 buttons.  For an even more console-like gaming experience users can connect their iDevice to a big screen TV while using their Duo Gamer controller.  This seems like a great idea but for $79.99 we wish it was compatible with more gaming titles.  The Duo Gamer controller will be available for purchase from Apple.com starting October 5th, Amazon.com, and Target stores.
