iOS 7 will be available for free starting September 18th

Apple has just announced that iOS 7 will be publicly available on September 18th. The new version of Apple’s mobile OS will be available on the iPhone 4, 4S, 5, 5c, and 5S, the third- and fourth-generation iPads, iPad mini, and fifth-generation iPod touch.

Curiously, Apple lists iCloud Keychain as “coming soon” on the iOS 7 page, though most features aren’t marked that way. This could indicate that the feature will be released in a later update to iOS closer to the release of Mavericks, which is required to sync stored passwords across devices.

Looks to me like someone was reading an email and decided to share it via AirDrop. Swiping up allowed them to do this, which is what we see.

  4. I thought iOS 7 would also be available on iPad 2 ? Apple website says so … :)

  5. If you’re going to write about something at least get your facts straight. The Ipad 2 will also get IOS 7 but not all of the features.
