Ahead of its October 22nd iPad and Mac event, Apple has begun dressing up the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Fransisco with banners. While the banners have just begun going up, it is easy to see that the banner will match the theme of the event’s invitation: fall-inspired leaves. We’ll continue to update this post as more images of the banners come through to tips@9to5mac.com. Thanks David Jones for the images!

Update: Blueprint of the entire banner:

This event should be quite interesting.

What do you think about the event logo?
iPhone event had those “bubbles” that now I think were related to the touch id interface.
This “flying leaves” have me thinking. They look like they are “disconnecting” from the apple.
And the “cover” word. hmmm…. Have anyone read about the new smart covers Apple got a patent for wireless charging?

aside from fall, the only other thing I can think of is leaves are an icon for sustainability and eco friendliness.

if we are going to shoot in the dark for some further meaning than fall leaves and tie in “a lot to cover” it could be a solar smart cover. Also, apple always says that their new products are the most eco friendly yet for every redesign.

my money is still on fall leaves.

This event is going to drop bombshells on PC market, and as well as on APPL stock market.
