In line with some of the new features found in Safari for OS X Mavericks, the Mountain Lion version has been updated with support for the new sidebar, Shared Links, and improved power-efficiency. Get it from the Software Update tab in the App Store.

One Response to “Safari 6.1 for Mountain Lion released: Shared Links, new Sidebar”

  1. Safari power saver is great. After update to Mavericks, I’ve been reluctant to install Adobe Flash. Soundcloud and Mixcloud has HTML5 players. Youtube has one too, however I haven’t enabled it, because I was just switching to Chrome’s internal flash player.
This is going to be another step to make Adobe Flash obsolete. Which it already is.
