Apple continued its remembrance of comedian Robin Williams today by publishing a new page on its website. The memorial is featured on the Apple.com homepage, and features a message from Apple:

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Robin Williams. He inspired us through his passion, his generosity, and the gift of laughter. He will be greatly missed.

Earlier today the company also put a selection of Robin’s work on sale through the iTunes Store.

You guys already wrote two stories on this. You need an editorial calendar or Google Docs. :-)

classy, apple. but as i said yesterday, the iTunes store connection, was not classy at all.

  4. I love and admire the fact that Apple shows tribute… but lately I’ve watched as within a day if not a few hours of news of a celebrity passing iTunes bunches movies together to make a profit. At least give it a week or 2… it’s not like faithful iTunes users are not going to search for the movies or music themselves if interested.
