Several of the artists have expressed their excitement for the upcoming festival on Twitter and to the press. From The Loop:

The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue told The Independent:

“We are really excited. We did it in our first year and it’s really nice that we’re four albums in and playing at iTunes again,” he said. “I can’t wait. There’s just such a great vibe. We know all the crew and the engineers so it’s a fun date for us.”

The Irish singer, formerly a judge on the BBC’s The Voice, added: “It’s the same night as our album is released in the UK, so we can’t wait to play our new music and celebrate with you all.”

Charlie Simpson noted that this wouldn’t be his first time taking the stage for the iTunes Festival:

“My band Fightstar played the iTunes Festival in 2009, I can’t believe it’s been five years. It’s an honour to be invited back to play as a solo artist,” said Simpson.
