Retina 5K iMacs (MF886LL) & new Minis (MGEM2LL) hit US retail: Amazon, Best Buy, more

We reported last week that Apple’s new lust-worthy 5K Retina 27-inch iMac was up for sale at MacMall with a small discount and tax advantages in most states. Over the weekend, many more retailers began offering the new product. Among the biggest:

We’ve noted that it is often a best bet to order the base mode of RAM and then upgrade to 32GB using Crucial RAM at Amazon ($273 for 32GB)

Apple’s new $499 Mac Minis are also now available at Best Buy, Amazon and B&H (but aren’t RAM upgradable).

At the moment, MacMall appears to be a best bet when buying either (and they are already shipping), but numbers fluctuate. Keep an eye on 9to5mac.com/products for the latest best prices on Apple products or 9to5toys for the best prices on accesories. .

    Does anyone know when these will be available to view either in the Apple Store or other retail outlets? Also, when will you be able to purchase one in the Apple Store?
