Brand loyalty consultancy Brand Keys says that Apple has topped the lists in three of the categories in which it competes: laptops, tablets and smartphones. It wasn’t quite a clean sweep, however – Apple Music lost out to Pandora in the online music category …
The large-scale survey asked 42,792 people to pick their top brands in 72 categories. Other tech winners included Amazon, AT&T, Dropbox, Facebook, Google and Netflix.
Apple of course regularly wins awards, last month picking up arguably the most eccentric when the Apple Watch was named ‘Life enhancer of the year.’ 9to5Mac readers picked the Watch as Apple Product of the Year last year.

Other noteworthy companies on that list:
Beats for headphones
Samsung for flat screen TV’s
WhatsApp for IM apps
Netflix for Online Video Streaming
HP for printers
AT&T for Wireless Phone Service
Really disagree with Samsung. So many defect TV’s lately, its absurd. Yes, they are nice, but they brake too easily. I go with Vizio lately and AT&T prices are nowhere reality. Sticking with T-Mobile.
Imho I think Sony makes better TVs than Samsung.
How is that possible when these days everyone says Apple sucks.
The article still doesn’t explain why Apple is valued like a steel mill going out of business. Or maybe it does explain why everyone says Apple sucks and no longer innovates. I did a comparison of Apple and Yahoo over the course of the last 52 weeks and it showed how Apple barely edged out Yahoo in share gains over that period. Word has it how Yahoo is really struggling as a company and shopping around for a buyer. Apple is supposedly in a lot better shape than Yahoo but you’d never guess this based on Apple’s stagnating share price. Obviously, awards mean nothing for Apple or shareholders.
