I am a cyclist and own an iPhone 6s+. For me the fitness tracking of the apple watch is one of the biggest draws, but because I can’t use the current gen to make an emergency call while im out on the bike, or use any of the fitness mapping apps I have to lug my giant phone with me in my jersey pocket. Thats where onboard cellular and gps come in handy. Same thing for runners; besides heart rate, why use an apple watch if you still have to run with your gigantic phone in your hand?
