Poll: What features and changes do you want to see in iOS 10 at WWDC?

At WWDC on Monday, Apple will unveil the latest version of its mobile operating system, iOS 10. With the conference being light on hardware, expectations are high for Apple to announce some major new features for iOS 10 on iPhone and iPad. The rumor mill is quieter than usual, so there’s definitely a bigger opportunity to be surprised with this year’s keynote.

We have some idea about what to expect but we want to hear what you want to see Apple announce next week. Join in the poll after the jump to have your say on what you want to see in iOS 10 …

From the prominent rumors, we can paint some picture of what to expect in the iOS 10 software update. It seems like iMessage will be a big focus for the event, perhaps aligning more closely with chat apps like Facebook Messenger and Telegram with the addition of stickers or maybe flavor-of-the-month chat bots powered by Siri. Person-to-person payments through iMessage definitely looks to be on the way.

In iOS 10, Apple Music is also set for an overhaul with a new monochrome design and new features, like lyrics. A Siri SDK also seems like a sure thing with increasing pressure to compete from Amazon and Google. The concept of being able to hide/delete stock Apple apps has also been bandied about quite a bit and supported by leaks in code references. Apple may also finally add a stock HomeKit appimprove Apple TV integration and add the ability to unlock Macs with nearby Touch ID iPhones.

However, there is also a lot more on the table than what’s been covered by the rumor mill. A lot of people have talked about wanting things like Dark Mode, customizable Control Center, better iPad multitasking, redesigned status bar, iPad Pro focused improvements and much more. We’ve tried to include as many as possible of the top requests in our poll but use the other option to give us your thoughts on anything else in the comments.

So, the question is what are you most looking forward to seeing in iOS 10?

In the poll, vote on what you want to see in iOS 10, what are you most wanting Apple to improve or change about its iPhone and iPad software. This year more than ever, features that are wanted but not necessarily backed by rumors are as equally likely to show up on stage. It feels like Apple wants to make a big surprise splash at WWDC 2016.
