Sorry all. Publicity stunt by Sascha Hoehne, who uploaded this image to yFrog using his Twitter account from his iPhone.  Looks like it is his icon artwork:.

This is a fake uploaded on purpose to stir up more free advertising for Apple. Jobs is a marketing genius.

Could it be a sneak preview of his new icon set called Minimum? You can see Minimum on his deviant art account (http://rade8.deviantart.com/) and his personal website has M2 showing as a teaser/splash. It at least looks like the folder icon.

Most people will say iTablet... but it could be the next iPhone ;)

Dude, next time make a picture of the whole thing..
Saves us a lot of time thinking what this could be...

anyway, what can this be? Can't be the new iphone...

Hahahah.. that kinda looks like Minium 2, and not some hardware. haha ;-)

Agreed. Sascha is no idiot, and he likes his job, so he's not going to be posting pictures of upcoming products. Plus, Apple is notorious for keeping one hand from knowing what the other is doing. Most of the iPhone software development team had never seen the hardware until it debuted during the keynote speech, and vice versa for the hardware team seeing the software. There's no way that Sascha, as a UI designer, would have seen any new-product hardware that would be coming out this summer or later.

This is Minium, plain and simple. I'm sure that MacThemes has already figured this out...

This is a photo of a physical object.
The photo was taken with an iPhone.
Few icon designers carve their prototype icons out of metal and plastic.

Agreed. Everyone is shooting this down quickly with out considering the fact that it really does look like a physical object.

Isn't it possible that he made the icons for his set to resemble upcoming hardware? Doubtful, but maybe that is where he got his inspiration.

You can take pictures of your computer screen, can't you?

The picture was taken in an hospital near Hamburg.
So now guess.....

Huh?

Part of his cigarette lighter ...
