NAS=Network Attatched Storage btw. Yeah its a long shot but we like the idea! Macrumors forum member tacojohn pointed us to this - hey! Photoshop images can still be real ;P. More picts and "specs" after the jump.

This is what makes a flash drive ultra portable possible. Apps/OS on the flash drive, other files on the "air" drive for instant access. Air drive also becomes media server for all Wifi Macs in the vicinity.

This is bad reporting my friend....
He stated he made this FAKE PRODUCT on appleinsider forums.
C'mon man.. I think you're capable of better news this week than this!
no need to get critical.
no need to get critical. Lighten the mood. Of course it is fake!
I agree: super sexy. If this
I agree: super sexy. If this is a fake, it is gratly well-done. I hope this is real. If not, Apple should make it! And give tacojohn a new job as their designer :-)
This looks great, but I
This looks great, but I wouldn't want a WiFi only box. WiFi is nice for temporary connections, but I still wire every permanent connection on my home network. Spec(ulate) in a 10/100/1000 Ethernet port, and I'd buy one.
If you're going to have multiple computers pulling large files off of it, wired would be the way to go, for me.
Guys, check your sources.
Guys, check your sources. THe guy admitted that it was fake.
I had been using a WiFi
I had been using a WiFi attached disk for iTunes library storage and I recently abandoned it. iTunes grinds to a halt when the data transfer bandwidth is anything less than fast ethernet or a USB or FireWire disk.
Bonjour is a mystery to me.
Bonjour is a mystery to me. On top of all these "air" predictions, its predicted Apple will also address Greenpeace's complaints about their environmental impact.

Not to say that the present
Not to say that the present build of Leopard has a great problem when copying (not streaming) files from a NAS to the local hard drive (or any attached USB-storage-device)!!
It never ceases to amaze me
It never ceases to amaze me how stupid people can be. If some of you actually read the article instead of looking at the pretty pictures, you'd have realized that this was a fan mock up. Posting comments like "this is a fake", "check your resources", etc. only continues to prove the constant dumbing down of America.
I thought Mac users were more intelligent than this. Oh well, I guess that's what happens when Apple's market share increases.
Except for the pricing (the
Except for the pricing (the real one, the "Time Capsule", is 299 and 499), it's dead f'n on. Good show to whomever came up with this!
