The horizontal iPad has a mystery app.   What is it?

Update: Looks like National Geographic App.  They are getting a little promotion by Apple.  (Winner on Twitter: Civrock)

Update 2: Apple has deleted the app on their site.

Is it the NatGeo Logo? :-)

National Geographic based on the logo and it looks like it says Nat Geo under it

+1 I was going to say exactly that.

I second that.

yes nacional geografic

Not much of a contest now, eh 9to5? :P

I think National Geographic from the logo !

As I told you on Twitter when you asked. ;) Looks very much like Nat Geo.

It looks like a Nat Geo weblink

It's a national geographic app

National Geographic Magazine

Photoshop Skew says Nat Geo. I say OMG ITS THE SECRET CAMERA APP!!!1111!!

National Geographic. It says so underneath it. Expect Nat Geo to enter the map business to take on google maps.

National Geographic

National Geographic

Yes, but doesn't look like the iphone app icon or homescreen weblink.

It is absolutely the homescreen weblink for the full site not the iPhone version.  What do we all win?

An IPAD??

This is the new Picture Frame app. It allows users with the iPad with front facing camera to snap photos of themselves with in various decorative frames, similar to photo booth

What does he win?

Nat Geo, without a second glance

National Geographic, NATGEO. No doubt about it

I agree with "9to5Mac Noob (not verified) | March 12, 2010 - 8:03am"   It looks like the Picture Frame to me too!

Scratch that last comment.  Picture Frame, yes, Self Portrait, no.  This si the app that shows a slide show when the iPad is mounted in the dock.

It's the long awaited build-a-yellow-fence-on-a-black-backround game. 150% sure. Hope they'll get an iPhone version too!

Digital Picture Frame

Other than Nat Geo, could it be a lock button to keep your iPad screen from rotating??? Just a thought.

Whoops, guess I will answer my own post.  There is a button on the right side that does the locking.  Guess I am going with Nat Geo!

It's NAT GEO Magazine APP..  if it's not yellow i would think it's a home buttone shortcut.. lol

Certainly looks like the National Geographic border. However, I want to offer an alternative. The border looks very similar to the "Ipad overview" logo used on http://www.apple.com/ipad/features/ While I still back the National Geographic stance, its possible apple may place an "overview" app to get customers acquainted with the iPad and its UI.
