Take a look at these - pictures take both inside and outside of the still under construction Apple Store in Beijing, China.
The store is situated in a mall just near other western brands including Nike, Adidas and Zara.
These images were taken on behalf of French language Mac news website, MacPlus, by one Thibault Metzinger, who notes (according to Google Translate) that Apple is 'Pingo' in Chinese....

Actually, it's "pingguo" 蘋果
Actually, it's "pingguo", the roman phonetic translation of the characters 蘋果, "apple" in Mandarin.
I mean in Chinese
But the pronunciation is Mandarin.
the pronunciation in Mandarin
the pronunciation in Mandarin is "Ping Guo", which "Ping" is for “苹” and "Guo" is for "果“。
”苹果” is the Simplified Chinese, which is the officially used in Mainland China and in Singapore (Not sure about Malaysia),
whereas "蘋果" is the Traditional Chinese, which is officially used in Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR, also in Taiwan.
Hope this helps.
simple?
There is nothing simple about "simplified Chinese".
