Not a rerun exactly - this is newly-released video shows you just how far handset manufacturers will go to attempt reproduction of the iPhone/iPod touch experience on their devices. This gadget's called the Meizu M8 and the video was released by the CEO of the company.
The Chinese simply don't care about patents. They copied the Transrapid train (a magnetic levitation train), ropeways of a well known Austrian manufacturer (and even write his name on their crappy copies), Siemens turbines for powerplants and so on. This country sucks!
Which appears on the main screen underneath your finger when you move it around....
Anyway.
They don't do anything different than MS in this regard. Just copy good ideas...
When it will be released it's going to be old here and surpassed by the new designs. I don't think there is to worry much. It's been months of video all over the internet just to get a few pageviews, but in countries with some patent respecting laws it's not going to appear officially.
(By that I don't imply that patents are always good!!)
