I personally will be royally pissed off if there is not a major update to MBPs. I've been waiting too long.

Also, I'm with the crowd saying the larger 1.5x tablet would be a hit. I'd love to get one (barring my lack of funds after my new MBP is ordered). Here's the thing though. I think that those who have an iPhone would be significantly less interested. And considering how many people have an iPhone or plan to buy one, the cannibalization could be an important factor in whether Apple releases this product, and when. We know Apple is at least experimenting with the idea in their labs (why wouldn't they be?), and I think it's a safe bet that their prototypes are very far along - near ready to ship possibly. The question is, will they ship.
