Apple’s U2 ‘Echoes’ ad gets muted on YouTube due to a copyright claim

Apple - Echoes - YouTube 2014-09-16 15-54-49 2014-09-16 15-54-52

Update: It has been fixed, as you might expect

There’s no telling how long this is going to last, but it appears as if YouTube has killed the audio in the “Echoes” ad due to a “claim by a copyright holder.” Looks like Google doesn’t want to hear U2 either. Makes sense.

I liked that song.. probably some goon though it was funny to ‘report it’ …

Funny, almost 6k people liked it only 400 didn’t.. Which is fine, people have different tastes; just to be vindictive / prissy about it is stupid. I suspect the only a few of that minority are just loud whinny ‘Byotches’.. Squeaky wheel and all..
