Fake iSlate specs leaked by iPhone Arena
We do like the OS name Clouded Leopard. It kind of works with the more MobileMe, Lala stuff. Other than that it is a bad fake - they lost us at "Intel".

Wow. They can't even get the watermark faking right:) Why do some people bother? I've always wanted to be a developper :)
And and Ethernet port? How quaint. Maybe an SSD is build-to-order :) Oh, come on, why not just have an integrated keyboard and Firewire too.
FSCK-ing stupid. Why even post this crap?
They were so excited, they typed it up in a hurry. "Upto [sic] 2x faster wake up and shut down". I'm also dying to know what subscript note 1 says about it.
Come on. I mean, COME ON!
Mac OS X Clouded Leopard v.10.7 doesn't make much sense either. They would rather name it 10.6...
dude.. Mac OS X 10.6 is Snow Leopard. so 10.7 would be the next one
this is not worth a news entry.
hilarious
wouldn't of been so bad,but 10.7 xD
clouded leopard XD
come on
This thing wont have a spinning hard drive, wont be called clouded leopard, wont have a special “islate” dvd drive, the projector idea is ridiculous, apple is trying to introduce a whole new area of mobile, theyre not gonna risk it with tech that hasn’t been real world tested, power drinking core2duo? dont think so, cant see ethernet included. Im glad they put "(diagonal)" in brackets otherwise it might have confused people, actually suprised the word bluray didnt come up in there somewhere
oh hold on, it will have multitouch, maybe these specs are real!
So, what is this iSlate going to be used for? Gaming? Reading? I thought Steve didn't think people read book anymore. Checking email? Well, why would you want to carry an iSlate for that if you can do this with an iPhone? Maybe using it as a picture album to look at your family pictures? After a decade of digital photography, we still don't have a device that would replace a photo album; hence, people take digital photographs and then print them out and put them in conventional albums. Looking at pictures on a laptop is lame, and looking at pictures on a flat-screen 16:9 HDTV is cool, but not many people know how to use Front Row in Mac OS and get it to display on the secondary screen. And as far as Windows goes, it's a total disaster to get your digital pictures display on an external monitor. So, perhaps viewing digital pictures and gaming are the two primary applications for the iSlate. Maybe Steve has changed his mind about reading. Perhaps he got into reading while recuperating from his surgery and now things reading is cool.
As far as using a tablet as a laptop (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.), this has already been tried several years ago, and the tablets did not take. I am sure Apple will surprise again, but I really don't see why you would want to get a giant iPod Touch for the price of two higher-end iPods Touch. So, selling 10,000,000 of them in the first year I think is a stretch.
