Really.  According to an NPD survey, Apple just passed Wal-Mart to become #1 in the US for Music sales - by a significant margin.  It took 19% of the January unit share comared to Wal-Mart's 15%, Bestbuy's 13% and Amazon's 9%.  Christmas giftcards probably had an effect so it will be interesting to see what happens as ongoing numbers come in...
