No Apple Store in the neighborhood? AT&T locations too far to drive? Never fear. You can get your iPhone at the neighborhood BestBuy or BestBuy Mobile on September 7th. No word on crazy financing with no payments until 2010 or if they will try to sell you that oh.. so... valuable extended warranty but knowledgable BestBuy associates are standing by to help.

While the warranty they try to sell you may not be the best purchase for the majority of items sold at Best Buy, it has saved my bank account on several occasions.
I've returned two iPods with damage I was directly responsible for and they gave me a replacement, and once an upgrade, on the spot since I was covered under warranty. No questions asked.
Will be interesting if also applies to the iPhones since AT&T won't cover it under their monthly insurance.

In Vegas there are two Apple stores and a dozen at&t stores. I will be buying two phones soon and a reasonable equipment warranty would actually be a reason for me to by there instead of the Apple Store.
Any other reasons? Accessory discounts with purchase etc.?
