Developers happy with Apple?
Sure, we've all heard of the iPhone App Store approval process issues. But overall, how happy are developers with Apple and its developer tools? According to a recent LinkedIn survey (PDF-last page), pretty happy:

Not sure why the take away is developers are happy with Apple approval process when asked about Xcode and other development tools.
For better or worse, the App Store is intrinsically tied to the development process including versioning and updates.
Steve Ballmer is a bit disturbing.
I'll speak for myself and say I'm not happy with Apple's developer relations.
They extend their usual secrecy to dealing with developers when it is not in any way helpful to Apple nor the developer.
Applications are not posted to the Apple website with no communication from them what so ever. No reason for denial.
Well publicized iPhone app store submission denials for various reasons.
Confused process dealing with WWDC. I spent 3 weeks waiting for an answer from Apple. Got an answer, made non-refundable travel arrangements then Apple said whoops, they meant to say the opposite. I couldn't attend WWDC and lost my money.
Developer APIs are more closed and poorly documented than most, inconsistent.
Do they add the very satisfied and somewhat satisfied numbers to get the total? Because if so, then some of their numbers are off... Correct me if I'm wrong.
