Magic Mouse software now available, Magic Mouse still not shipping...yet
Apple's new wireless Magic Mouse comes with all new iMacs. Unfortunately, you can't quite get them as standalone products yet. That's didn't stop Apple from releasing the software that will allow your Mac to use these new mice.
Come to think of it, since Apple is releasing this software now, there is a pretty good chance we'll see it in stores soon. You can still pre-order from Amazon for a buck off of Apple's price and free delivery.

With all the guff about the "Magic Mouse" people seem to be overlooking the new iMacs. With a top-end configuration including a quad-core Intel CPU, a 2 TB hard drive and up to 16 GB of RAM - and a high-end video card - this is the first iMac that can stand up as a workstation desktop computer.
Yay I'm not even excited coz I'm not buying it. No expose, no spaces, no dashboard - no sale.
Try using screen corners to activate those things. Once you get used to it, you'll thank me. Less awkward side clicking = less carpal tunnel
Give Me Expose or Give Me Death!
Have death then. I'll continue using hot corners.
When you have a huge ass monitor using hot corners is really inefficient. I wish people would quit suggesting "hot corners" as an equivalent alternative to using expose on a mouse!
duddddde where is expose, i cant belive apple forgot about expose this is unacceptable, expose is a major function in the mac, and a mouse like the "magic mouse" should be able to deal with expose.
but since its the magic mouse i think magic can happen in a future software update.
First thing I tried was Expose....total let down.
You can always just hit F3 on the keyboard...
I just bought and used the magic mouse and until the software somehow supports expose I cannot use it. The perfectly place side buttons on the Logitech MX Revolution are essential to me. Hot corners will not work on my desktop simply because I have Apple's 32" monitor - moving to the corners is a long walk in the park just to use expose's features. I expect anyone with a larger LCD would feel the same way. I have no problems with the magic mouse otherwise - I think it's brilliant.
nice post.
