I live in Toronto. Have an iphone. Rogers hookup. Works nicely. Great status symbol. Only complaint is that no one up here sells accessories - can't buy a case at the Apple Stores in Toronto. You'd think they weren't selling iPhones here or something.

Why ?

Rogers is the ONLY one to be able to deliver any phone service to Canadians with their "shitty" network (here in Montreal at least) so they continue saying that they don't want to offer unlimited data plan (on full featured headsets at least) and this makes no chances for us.

So if another player was coming down... that would make a lot of things change and bring down their stupid "premium price" over Bell's network, etc...

Another question i have... still... does Rogers offer 3G network ? or only EDGE ?
If it's only EDGE... they are then really in bas shape for the next wave of cellphones :D

As much as I want an iPhone, I'd rather have no iPhone than have do deal with Rogers. Their network is 2nd rate at best and their business practices with respect to contracts, services and charges don't even make it to 2nd rate.
