Update All Gone?
Is the update all button gone from the App Store? I can't find it anymore and have to do it on my computer now.
yeah i noticed that too. also
yeah i noticed that too. also my mum's iPhone (which is exactly the same as mine) has different text for the 'top 25's' hers says - "top 25 free apps" and mine just says - "top free"
I still have update
I still have update all.
Click Check for Updates, then it shows all the apps that have updates, then in the top right it says "Download All Updates".

I have the first gen iphone and before i wasn't having that many problems but now edgde is not connecting sometimes
im still on 2.0.1, but it
im still on 2.0.1, but it sucks. my contacts freeze up just about everytime i view or edit them, and many times the phone will ring, but be frozen so i cant answer, forcing me to reboot. i would say it gives me trouble about 80% of the time. very, very annoying. I think some of it may have to do with Intelliscreen.
ps. i HATE CAPTCHA

I wish I would of kept my old
I wish I would of kept my old iphone. The new 3G takes forever to sync, drops calls, freezes and does not always ring...etc. etc. etc. I can't wait to see if they can fix all my problems and make me a happy iphone user again. I am still glad I have an iPhone but the original phone did not have so many bugs.
1st gen doing the same
I still have the 1st gen iPhone, and have upgraded to 2.02. I am having many of the same issues. Dropped calls, freezes, and the MAIN one is that sometimes calls will not come through at all until I reboot. Also had all of the apps stop working. The only way to get that working again was to restore.
I love the iPhone, but I'm starting to think that I may have to get something else that is more reliable.
iPhone backups are still sloooooooooooow!
When is that going to get fixed?
when itunes gets an update
when itunes gets an update and adapts itself more like timemachine
i'm afraid to say...
apple is getting lazy. lacking not in just iphone issues, but with mobileme... come one guys.
my 3g is doing much of the same as mentioned above. plus, my phone is dropping contacts.
not only do am i getting annoyed with the apple (which i never thought would happen), but at&t keeps messing up my bill... my last bill had $4,600.00 in usage chargers with unlimited data... really dumb.
steve, give me strength... for my faith is weak!

has anyone had a problem with
has anyone had a problem with there phone deleting long texts
I may only want to delete 2 or 3 letters, but the damn thing deletes 2 or 3 lines before I can stop it.
& I seem to be dropping 3G calls before a connection can be made with the person I am trying to call (It would help if I was in an area that had decent 3G coverage mind you)
Only one complaint...
Most of the bugs have been fixed alright, but a new one appeared and a big one... I'm still debating if it's hardware related or not, on the forums some have had it but in earlier updates :s The accelerometer has a miscalculated behavior in which once the image/page (depending on which app you are working on: Photos/Camera/Safari) is put in Landscape, it wouldn't go back to Portrait and in Photos it returns to it but only putting the phone upside down :s and the buttons are still the same so you have an upside-down image and the Lanscape Partrait shift works, but only inverted...
Other than that it's working fine...
The update corrupted my
The update corrupted my simcard and eliminated all phone signal I had. annoyingly.
Had to drop by o2 to get a new simcard on thursday morning and am still waiting for my signal to return 3 days later...
not impressed to say the least
Programs are randomly
Programs are randomly crashing. Thats with the 2.0.2 update. The crashing just happens everyonce in a while.
How many of you with problems
How many of you with problems have jailbroken? I had 2.01 jailbroken (iPod touch) and I had all of the above mentioned problems (lag, crashing, etc) nothing seemed to fix it (including restore). Last week I decided to completely restore and update to 2.02 without jailbreaking and 99% of the problems went away (safari still crashes occasionally but no more than it did in 1.14) I'd love to see if that fix also helps with connectivity so if you do this to an iPhone be sure to post it.
I haven't had as many
I haven't had as many problems with my 3G as reported here but I have had a few:
1) About 3 sec lag time for Contacts to load and become scrollable
2) Backspace sometimes deletes several words even when lightly tapped.
3) Only 1 or 2 dropped calls (no more than my reg phone, also with AT&T) but have had trouble answering/picking up around 10 calls (this has also happened with my reg phone with AT&T but not as often)
4) Only 1 full "crash" - All non Apple apps tried to start up but failed to launch, then crashed. All music from iPod gone, only stating "no data". When attempting to sync, entered a vicious cycle of backing up the corrupt copy and restoring with this one (why is there not an option to 1. sync without backing up. 2. Choose which backup to use. 3. Back up without syncing. and 4. Have Backup options, like backing up only apps or specific things, much like the syncing options.)
5) Individual non Apple apps crashed alot, esp the ones using GPS
6) In only some areas that have typically good 3G coverage, the 3G reception was spotty - going in and out, 4 bars to 0 without physically moving much)
So far the 2.0.2 update seems to be an improvement, although hasnt fully fixed everything.
My contacts load immediately (no more blank screen for a few seconds). However half of the time I do have to wait about 2 secs to be able to scroll through.
So far, 1 dropped call since update.
So far, no more initial problems answering calls yet.
So far, no app crashes since update.
So far, no system crash since restore and update.
Auto switching between 3G and Edge seems quicker.
I haven't noticed any general improvements in 3G reception
iPhone 3G on 2.0.2
It still takes forever to sync the iPhone (though not quite as long but still...too long!) and I have it lag when I am typing using SMS or contacts. *sigh* I know Apple will eventually get it right.
Battery life is much worse
Battery life is much worse with 2.0.2 than 2.0 and 2.0.1... Can't even make it a whole day and night on standby when i could make it the whole weekend before... Anyone else having this problem?
Having this issue with my
Having this issue with my iPod touch, though I think I just needed to fully drain the battery and give it a day on the wall charger. That seemed to help a little.

AT&T not Apple
The dropped calls and calls-straight-to-voicemail are an AT&T feature IMHO.
Well I'm more upbeat about
Well I'm more upbeat about 2.02. Contacts snappier, fewer crashes, network definitely more reliable. Backups still too long but a little more friendly. Perhaps just as important as the update I've reduce the number of apps installed, and anything that looks even a little flakey is removed before it causes big problems. Also I did a full wipe and set up my iphone as new device on doing the update... and i didn't do update 'till pwnage 2.0.3 because my phone is "pwned" or "jailbroken".
Guys this is a whole new platform, on the first iphone 1.1.2 was ok, 1.1.3 was good, 1.1.4 was solid. I'm in UK so guess that in the US 1.0.0 was probably flakey 1.0.1 was a "make it work" 1.1.1 was getting there. The second iphone has to contend with 3rd party apps, getting sandboxing right, 3g, gps, power management, it's all gonna take time to bed down. While I could suggest a stash of improvements, my 3g iphone is still so much better than any other smart phone I've ever used/owned, and I've had and played with quite a few...
One of the major problems I'm
One of the major problems I'm facing is that I have activated my office Exchange account and now I can't sync my home iCal... This *still* hasn't been fixed.
Oh, and it's still slow.
