Yeah? I haven't heard anything on that. I might have delayed my AppleTV purchase if I had heard that.

The article from Appleinsider states that the announcement is going to be about their Mac (computer) business strictly and hence I am quite sure that the annoucement will be of the new iMac's and possibly iWork 08 etc.

i haven't heard any Cube rumors...
that thing was ahead of it's time, though. I'm sure Steve and co. were disappointed that it didn't sell well. Maybe they'll give it another shot?
If they're gonna "kill off" the Mini, it will likely be a form factor change+hardware upgrades rather than getting rid of the entire line of consumer "towers". That's the kind of computer I would get for my parents, since they already have all their peripherals.
i voted for what is most likely, not for what i WANT...
i'm guessing they announce new imacs...but i'm still rockin my old floatin screen r2d2 styled imac from 2000-2001ish...and its working just fine for what i do.
but what i WANT them to announce is the next generation of the ipod...WHATEVER it ends up being.
I'm planning on buying the next gen ipod...it would actually be my FIRST ipod (everyone else in my family already has previous versions...wife has the 60g video, daughter has an earlier non-video 30g, son has the 8g nano. What do i have...nothin...me, dad, the most music obsessed member of the family doesn't have one of thes badboys yet.
I'm hoping for an announcement of a 100g or 100+g version...and while the touchscreen would indeed be cool, its really not a requirement for me...im ALL about music storage capacity and reliability at this point (i've got a LOT of music and want it ALL on there at my fingertips)
thats what want, but i'm betting thats not what they announce...we'll see...

I have been waiting so long to buy an ipod, they better come out soon or i will give up on apple products all-together.
Mac Laptop
New to this site and to the Apple side. Looking at buying a laptop for heavy road travel. I can wait to buy but wanted to know - Is there an update or redesign I should wait and buy the new one?
