Why not a new design for MacBook Pros ?

1°) We have to wait over than a month when we buy one of them these days, because of some parts hard to find (dixit Apple Store France) ;

2°) They have the oldest design in all Apple computers : the design of the PowerBook G4 introduced in 200... 2/3 ?

3°) Just look at the new keyboards on both MacBook and iMac. See ? Now look at this thing that stands for a real keyboard on the MacBook Pros... And what's the hell is that grey sort of dirty plastic that hide WiFi and BTooth antennas... Come on, be serious Steve...

apple lost the mouse wars years ago. Would be nice to see them give in and make an effort on that tho. Still think that Steve uses one button - therefore, our MacBooks don't have 2 buttons.

I would hope that apple would lower the price of their laptops at some point. Or just have a lower priced one for people who are only willing to spend 600$ not 1000$

I do think Apple will "refresh" the iPod shuffle with a small display that shows time elapsed, track title and battery life. This makes it more competitive with the Creative Labs Zen Stone Plus and Sandisk Sansa Touch players, both of which have displays.

Apple is comming out with the new iPods, which will be touchscreen on september 5th kind of like a phoneless iphone, along with a OS upgrade to the iPod and mabye one more thing. I think that deserves a authentic Wow

In the CompUSA ad, there is "$30 instant savings" on the 30Gb iPod.
It also says for the iPod nano "Final week! Buy more, save more" iPod + 1 accessory save 10%, iPod + 2 accessories save 15%, iPod + 3 accessories save 20%.

If you check store availability, almost all CompUSA stores are out of all iPods, with only a few models in "Limited Quantities"

For those who need more convincing, there you go.
