The Wall Street Journal is reporting that one out of every 10 iPhone and iPod touch devices has downloaded the Skype app.  At the last count (earnings call), Apple had distributed 37 million iPhones and iPod Touches.  Now we are probably closer to 40 million, which would put Skype's total at close to a four million installations.

Skype had passed the million mark within a few days of its launch on March 31st.  Then on April 8th, it passed 2 million.

USA: 4000000 - CAN:0

Why does it take soooo long for Canada to get its act together? It took over a year for the iPhone, Apple Can hasn't approved Skype yet, plus the countless other things that take forever to get.

oh well... at least we have universal health care. (sorry that last one was seriously off topic)
