Obama is an iPod user. Mystery solved.
From the Wall St. Journal Business Technology Center section comes the reassuring news that Barack Obama is indeed an iPod user. The brouhaha started when Philadephia Philadelphia writer, Neal Santos, blogged that he caught Obama at the Gym with a Zune. Unfortunately for the Zune community, it isn't so.
We think we figured out where the problem was. See, Obama was using the best iPod theft deterrent available to mankind. Presidents-elect need theft protection too!

He only experimented with a Zune once, in college, and regrets it deeply.
Come on. There were numerous reports that he was squirting with friends in a Philadelphia gym just a few weeks ago!
There are other rumors that he runs Windows Vista on his Mac, under VMWare. And that his BlackBerry runs a prototype version of Windows Mobile for BlackBerry - a secret joint project between RIMM, Microsoft, and the NSA.
I know these are just rumors, but they are persistent.
Apple is releasing a tablet soon.
Come on seriously who the Heck uses a Zune, also that's a great idea, a zune cover as a ipod Theft deterrent
I want one!
Oh brother. 9 to 5 is becoming the Fox News of the Mac community. Putting the pro Apple spin on everything. I seriously doubt they have any facts to back this up. This is a classic example of fanboyism gone awry. I'm officially ashamed of being a Mac user now.
Just having a laugh, lighten up :P
Let me give ya'll a reality check here... I own an iPhone 3G, an iPod Touch 8 gig, and a Zune 80 gig. I have also owned a MacBook Pro, which I traded to someone for their Alienware (MacBook Pro did not have enough graphical power, nor was there any real reason that I could come up with, other than the novelty, for me to use OS X). I MUST say that the MacBook Pro ran Windows (through Boot Camp) better han a PC, which I was greatly suprised with, and would have made me keep the MacBook Pro if it had a decent video card in it (it had an ATI Radeon card). Also, I would not own a cell phone if it weren't for the iPhone, which I beleve is one of the top 5 electronic devices of all time. I absolutely love mine. But when it comes to MP3 players, the MS Zune blows the iPod away in all areas, hands down. Obama may be a douche, but if he chose a Zune over an iPod, then he made the right decision for once!
If you would not haved owned a cell phone if it was not for the iPhone.
Then why did you not just stick with the iPod Touch.
Sure there is not GPS in the ipod, but it's cheaper.
.
That the Zune blows the iPod away in all areas... is it your 8GB Touch you compers with your 80GB Zune?
If you want to compair that, then compare the Zune and a iPod Classic.
.
But basic you sounds like a gamer, that like games, and ether don't like other technoligi, or don't have any friends sins you did not feel a need for a cell phone.
.
But sure if you are a gamer, then a windows based computer is better for you at the moment.
And if you macbook pro had a ATI grafik card, then it from pre-2007 release
Oooh, you're sooooo cool for spelling "graphic" as "graphik". So hip.
Are you stupid? My Dec 2007 MBP has an ATI 6800. Dumba$$.
Unfortunately I have to tell you that you are stupid, cos the 6800 is a Nvidia Chip
Oh and just in case you wanna have a look yourself: http://support.apple.com/kb/SP13

What a perfect deterrent for thieves of iPods.

While vacationing in Hawaii, Barack frequently worked out at a nearby Marine Corps base. Here's a pic of him with his iPod.
