What’s New in Version 1.0.1
Podcasts 1.0.1 provides a number of improvements, including:
• Significant improvements to performance and stability
• Podcasts in your library now show the number of unplayed episodes
• Top Stations now show the podcast title if artwork is missing
• Playback speed is now remembered when playing the next episode
• Fix for a problem where the Subscribe button is inactive
• Resolution of an issue where Top Stations artwork may not appear
Podcasts: If you have experienced issues with Apple’s Podcasts iOS app that released last month, as many have, you will be happy to know Apple plans to release an update today that brings a number of fixes to common bugs. According to a report from AllThingsD, “Apple has been hard at work tweaking the app to fix the problems that currently plague it” and the update expected today should “vastly improve it.”
AutoCAD WS version 1.5: Autodesk’s app for viewing, editing, and sharing AutoCAD drawings on iOS devices was updated today with two new “powerful collaboration tools that transform design creation, review, and approval into a social experience.” The two features include:

o Post comments to specific locations within a drawing for easy reference and categorization
o Attach images to posts to add clarity and help build consensus
o Tag people in posts to bring them into the conversation for further feedback or collaboration
o Respond to posts in indented thread or hide resolved posts

o Instantly attach images to specific locations within a drawing for visual clarity or to inspire new ideas
o Easily move or resize images within a drawing
Opera Mini Web browser version 7.0.3: The universal Opera Mini iOS app was updated today, bringing integration with the iOS Twitter framework for iOS 5 and above, improvements to text selection and long text editing, and fixes for stability and unclickable links.
BBC iPlayer (Global) version 1.4.2: BBC’s iPlayer global iOS app received an update today that includes lower quality video streaming options, VoiceOver support for the app’s video player, and the usual performance improvements and bug fixes.
ColorStrokes version 2.0: MacPhun’s Color Splash Studio today was updated to version 2.0, a free update that includes a name change to ColorStrokes, which is a new re-color tool, and more.
