1. KitCam | 99 cents
Version 1.6 of this photo-editing app hit the App Store today and introduced Night Snap for KitCam. The feature allows users to take photos in very low light. The update also includes 10 new geometric shape frames, front-facing flash, uncompressed TIFF format,  JPEG compression, live exposure data on the histogram, extended time-lapse parameter, new composition grid, export options for originals, and storage and processing speed optimizations.

Version 2.5.3 of this find-an-apartment app added “further stability tweaks to make managing your listing and your travels as easy as possible.”

8. Action Movie FX | Free
Version 2.2 of this special effects app added three new Blockbuster Winter FX, a free Avalance FX and blizzard pack, and an HD-ready version of all effects.

9. Max Payne Mobile  | $2.99
Version 1.2 of this bad guy vs. cops game now features iPhone 5 widescreen support.

10. Kingdom Rush HD | $2.99
Version 1.84 of this strategy game includes two new stages, three new enemies, two new heroes, a new hard mode, five new achievements, and a news system to keep users updated on all-things Kingdom Rush.

11. Happier | Free
Version 1.1 of this moment-collecting app now offers Facebook sign-in and sharing, a new Today screen for moments of the day, a redesigned Collections tab, more friend-finding options, larger full-screen notifications, and the ability to change profile photo from Account Settings and see highlighted links that open in Safari.

12. Twitter | Free
Version 5.4.1 hit today and fixed an issue where some users didn’t receive all their push notifications or were not able to access hashtag, topic, and autocomplete suggestion functions while searching or composing a tweet. It also contains  fixes for crashes and other bugs.

1. Toy Story: Letters & Sounds | $3.99
Disney just launched its latest Toy Story app title, so children can “practice identifying letters and letter sounds while interacting with some of their favorite Disney•Pixar “Toy Story” characters.” The game design is appropriate for players aged 3 to 6 years, and it features the voice of Buzz Lightyear as a guide, various learning topics, the ability to interact with famous Toy Story characters and collect rescued toys, and exclusive, parent-enable gift unlocks.
