FireCore announces Infuse 2 with new design coming this fall, 1.5 update available today

Infuse 1.5

FireCore, the makers of the popular aTV Flash Apple TV software announced today that their media player application Infuse will be receiving a substantial update this fall as it hits version 2.0, with a completely new UI to match iOS 7’s design aesthetic, many new Pro features, and more.

FireCore claims every pixel in Infuse 2.0 has been redrawn, making the app feel completely new. Due to the changes made to the app, Infuse will now require iOS 7, taking advantage of many of the new features the new OS provides. In addition, the ability to browse and play videos stored on other devices, including Macs, PCs, or even NAS devices will make its debut in version 2.0, a much requested feature.

The 2.0 update, which will be free, isn’t quite ready yet, but in the meantime, FireCore has released version 1.5 of Infuse today, with features such as TV show groups for seasons with multiple episodes, forward and rewind gesture controls, subtitle toggling, saved playback settings, as well as many bug fixes and performance improvements.

If you haven’t used Infuse, you can check out our review from April of the original version to give you an idea of how the app works and looks today. We’ve also covered both the 1.2.4 and 1.3 updates, which introduced many new features, such as AirPlay support, Wi-Fi file transfers, fullscreen tv out, and more.

You can grab Infuse 1.5 here today in the App Store for $4.99, or as a free update if you already own the app.

Apple TV unlock or jailbreak are the activities discouraged by Apple. I would like to share a free application called PlayerXtreme Media Player. It allows you to watch movies, listening music and seeing pictures in any format. You can cast your videos with 1080p playback and 3times better audio quality by using chrome cast and Airplay to your Apple TV. It will also help you to access data from other devices at your home by creating a local network.
