Apple giving away Temple Run Oz for free via Apple Store app

As part if its on-going promotion of offering free iTunes content via the Apple Store app, Apple is offering the Temple Run: Oz game for free. The game is normally a $0.99 download via the App Store. The promotion runs until November 15, 2013. Apple previously offered free iTunes Festival tracks, books, and various apps for download at no charge.

    when i try looking it up , its showing as .99

      You have to go through the Apple Store app. When you do, it generates a “gift card” code and then allows you to download free. You cannot get by directly going to the App Store.

      Like the article says, you must first go to the Apple Store App. Doing that will give you a promo code for the App Store and will let you download it for free.

    Or you can just enter the code “L4KXR9HH3RPE” under redeem in the App Store Application and it will download the game for free.

      That’s a personalised code, only redeemable once.

        Except that the app is free, if you go through the Apple Store app. Why do you say it’s not free, when it actually is… If you follow instructions?
