New renders tease iPad 5 in Apple Store setting ahead of Oct. 22 unveiling

ipad5main

If you’re impatiently waiting to see the new iPad 5 in the Apple Store, your wait is over – virtually, anyway. Martin Hajek has created some new renders that show the new slimmer-bezel iPad 5 in an Apple Store setting.

The iPad 5 is expected to have the same slim bezel design as the current iPad Mini, to be thinner and lighter than the current model, available in the same colors as the iPhone 5s, be powered by the same A7 chip and to have a larger-aperture 8MP rear camera. It’s not yet clear whether or not it will have a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. It is due to be announced on 22nd October.

really looks like Samsung Galaxy Tab 3

One key ingredient missing. The “Apple Store 2.0” iPads siting alongside the devices they promote. Good work all the same!

Looks like it will come with a fingerprint sensor, If you look around the home button you will see a ring around it just like the iphone 5s.

These are just renders based on the rumors. We’ve heard conflicting reports about Touch ID on the new iPads.

  4. Missing a calculator which is a obvious fail… Added it is also lacking 5 rows of icons like the iphone even though the iPad is way bigger. Why there is not dual speakers or some type of surround sound is beyond me. As well the front camera should be equal if not better in megapixels as the back camera… That would so eliminate that “Selfphy style photo view” on the net!!!
