    Some nice choices here.

    • herb02135go - 10 years ago

Yes, several nice ones. And Otterbox.

On my S5, which is close in size to the 6 plus, I have a Speck with the edges that have grips.
Of anyone is concerned about one-handed use I’d suggest that.

      • android12321 - 10 years ago

Your s5 is nowhere near as big and bulky as that iphone 6 plus .. heck that iphone 6 plus is taller and wider then even the note 3. The iphone 6 plus is nearly the size of the samsung mega 6.3″. All bad engineering by apple to add 2 inches in legth by huge bezels. The lg g3 is the same size screen as the iphone 6 plus yet its body is nearly 1 inch shorter and half inch less wide.

      • android12321 - 10 years ago

Imagine the iphone 6 plus which is 6.2″ long . With an otterbox it will be nearly 7″ . No wonder apple guys gripe about too huge a frame when apple cannot even make a sleek small frame with a nice large display. Id even opt for the samsung galaxy mega 6.3 over the iphone 6 plus , heck they are physically nearly the same size but the mega has a 6.3″ screen

Correction to android12321: “. heck that iphone 6 plus is taller and wider then even the note 3.”

Iphone6+ is narrower than Note3 by 0.06 inch plus thinner 0.05inch.
Get your fact right will help with your credibility.

      • kingkongdingdong763 - 10 years ago

I do get mr. android’s point. Iphone6+ is taller, and it’s going to be difficult for Apple to shrink it down since they op for an actual home button instead of a virtual one, probably due to the fingerprint sensor.

I won’t go as far as insulting it as “bad engineering”.

    • standardpull - 10 years ago

Lots of cases already! I’m amazed how fast the Apple aftermarket biz gets into gear. I know that I will have one in a week for under $10 :-)

    • Tim Jr. - 10 years ago

I would argue to wait on Revocharge’s Kickstarter.. It’s wireless charging case is soooo much more flexible with multiple accessories like magnetic battery, desk stand, car dock, arm band, and belt clip..

they are talking about a magnetic camera attachment too.. 16 days to go! Already funded!

      • dragosmsm - 9 years ago

I saw that the case you are showing us you paid 12$ and for 12$ i Know a very big website where you can buy really cool cases. So be smart and go check out Cheap iPhone 6 cases and for that you can buy at least 2 cases

  2. herb02135go - 10 years ago

My last iphone had a frogz case.
The texture was great, it had vents to disapate some heat and covered the logo.

Hasn’t the bezel been eliminated in the new phone to enlarge the screen? If so, won’t most cases cover part of the screen since they grip the bezel?

  3. standardpull - 10 years ago

I love the look of all these cases. I often drop my phone (clumsy) so a case will keep it shiny and new! Thanks for the nice coverage.

  4. Howie Isaacks - 10 years ago

    They all look like ass.

    • standardpull - 10 years ago

Not sure if you mean they look sexy or awful. You are ambiguous.

      • Howie Isaacks - 10 years ago

I hate them. They’re all ugly. I’m a minimalist. I don’t like putting cases on an iPhone that will spoil its beauty. I’m using a great bumper case from Tavik on my iPhone 5. That’s as far as I will go.

    • OneOkami (@OneOkami) - 10 years ago

I disagree they look like ass but I’m with you in that I ideally prefer not to put cases on my phones and cover their natural beauty. I’d typically prefer to go with a bumper but in the case of the iPhone 6 I do not like those antenna bands on the back so with this iteration I consider a case with a nice back cover to be an improvement on the overall look.

I always find it funny that people demand a thin, beautiful phone made of “premium” materials and yet clamour for a hunk of plastic to cover their easily scratched, easily dented and usually slippery phone.

  6. Anyone else see a sense of irony with cases that hold cards? Lmao

    • dafthunk - 10 years ago

Yes! Haha, was thinking the same thing. With Apple’s push and most Android phones already having NFC, those ugly cases can gradually die off

    • OneOkami (@OneOkami) - 10 years ago

lol, that was the very first thing I thought when I saw those :P

    • luxx989 - 10 years ago

I could ditch my wallet if I put my drivers license in there though? Maybe some emergency cash, I still see a use as long as it doesn’t make it bulky.

  7. border1ine - 10 years ago

I really hate cases that leave a cutout for the Apple logo.

    • herb02135go - 10 years ago

Just got a $15 from a mall kiosk and customize it.

I got the frogz in part because it covered the logo. I’m not a status-seeking sheep.

  8. Andrew Messenger - 10 years ago

branding ruins the cases for me.

  9. Kevin Pinkerton - 10 years ago

I am surprised Spigen was so dead on with there prediction. I will be getting the Spigen Case Capsule (Black) for the 4.7 inch iPhone. It is thin and flexible, but still offers great protection and grip.

  10. Katie Worden - 10 years ago

Can’t wait for it.. I pre-ordered the 6 this AM at 3 lol.. looking forward to it! It’s a good pick.. Nice job Apple. I’ll go with Otter Box though..

  11. With Apple Pay now available, will card carrying cases become obsolete? Stumbled across this iPhone 6 case and it looks cool, but I was curious as to how long cases like this will be relevant? http://www.iamprodigee.com/products/undercover-black-iphone-6-case

    • Ryan Wayne - 10 years ago

Even if Credit Cards become obsolete you will still need to carry some ca$h and a ID. I think traditional wallets are what are slipping away.

  12. Chuon Chuon - 10 years ago

This is the advanced version of the well-known smartphone that will help Apple come back to the race and once again, stirs up the whole digital market.

  13. Jakub Sisak (@JakubSisak) - 10 years ago

The Outterbox Defender is most definitely NOT available to buy from Outterbox. You may be able to buy it from a re-seller who will ship when the cases are ready (they are for iphone 6) but none of the 6 PLUS outterbox cases are available to buy from Outterbox dirrect as of Sep-30-2014. All you can do is provide them with your email so that they may notify you when the cases are ready.

  14. Bruce Racheter - 9 years ago

Tried the Supcase; bad design and fingerprint access hardly ever worked. Did this reviewer actually try out these cases?

  15. Shatter Armor - 9 years ago

These cases DONT PROTECT THE SCREEN. The only case that actually MAKES YOUR PHONE SHATTERPROOF IS AT IPHONEARMOR.COM
