Mophie debuts Juice Pack H2Pro, its first waterproof battery case for iPhone 6

Sporting IP68-rated waterproofing — immersible in 1.2 meters of water for 30 minutes — as well as strong dust, drop, and shock resistance, the Juice Pack H2Pro is Mophie’s first-ever waterproof battery case.

Made from black plastic with a flexible, scratch-resistant clear front that provides both Touch ID and multi-touch screen access, H2Pro includes the complete button and port protection users would expect from a waterproof case, plus a 2,750mAh battery that Mophie promises will deliver a full 100% recharge for the iPhone 6.

Juice Pack H2Pro is currently available for pre-order and will ship in late May for $130, at which point it will likely be the first actually available waterproof battery for the iPhone 6. (Lifeproof’s Fre Power was announced in January but has not yet shipped.) Earlier Juice Pack cases for the iPhone 6 start at $100, and were favorably reviewed by 9to5Mac last month.
