Apple schedules Q2 2016 earnings call livestream for April 25

Apple has announced this evening that its fiscal second quarter earnings call will take place on Monday, April 25th at the usual time 2PM PT/5PM ET, with the earnings release dropping roughly thirty minutes before that. The call will report earnings for the three-month period ending this month.

Coming on the heels of a strong holiday quarter, this earnings call should feature   a very early look at iPhone SE sales, which are said to be strong in China already, as well as insight in to iPad Pro performance. Apple is said to have sold more than 3 million iPhone SE units in China during the first few days of availability.

Last quarter Apple reported $75.9b in revenue, $18.4b in profit, 74.8m iPhones sold, 16.1m iPads sold, and 5.3m Macs sold. As usual, the company didn’t break out Apple Watch sales for competitive reasons.

The live broadcast of the call will be available on Apple’s website and of course we will have live coverage, as well. The call will feature questions from the press and investors for Apple executives.
