Apple today has updated its investor relations page to reflect that its second quarter earnings call will now take place on Tuesday, April 26th. Previously, the company had said that it would hold the call on Monday, April 25th.
At this point, it’s unclear why Apple changed the date of the call, but it’s likely not a big deal. The call will still take place at 2PM PT/5PM ET, while the actual earnings release should drop 30 minutes prior to the start of the call.
Apple originally revealed the date for its Q2 earnings call last month on its investor relations webpage. Despite the change in date, the call will still be live streamed on Apple’s website and will report earnings for the three-month period that ended in March. Apple will take questions from the press as well as investors during the call.
Last quarter Apple reported $75.9b in revenue, $18.4b in profit, 74.8m iPhones sold, 16.1m iPads sold, and 5.3m Macs sold. As usual, the company didn’t break out Apple Watch sales for competitive reasons.
