Design Hunt for iOS gains 3D Touch support + general improvements

Daily design curation and inspiration app Design Hunt has seen a 2.1 version upgrade today focusing on improving overall performance and introducing 3D Touch features to the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Today’s update also introduces Design Hunt on the web so users can continue their discoveries on the desktop. Curating content from multiple sources like Designer News, Dribbble, Pinterest, and Fast Co, Design Hunt helps surface some of the best design content and ideas everyday.

Design Hunt is a lightweight and fast iOS app made to help designers quickly gain some design inspiration for the day. It’s easy enough to browse through multiple sites on a desktop and skim over different imagery, but more often than not a user would simply be looking through recently uploaded work. Design Hunt changes this by connecting to multiple creative platforms and showcasing some of the best and most fresh content of the day. Curated, collected, and published daily, the app keeps designers and developers aware of all the work going on around them.

The app puts a focus on three main areas: Trending, Favorites, and Discover. The Trending area contains a mix of curated and popular content within the Design Hunt platform, while Discover allows you to hone in on content from specific services (Adbuzeedo, Dribbble, Behance, Fleck, and Designspiration). There’s also a handy Search section to find exactly what you’re looking for or to just get a random search surprise. Users who chose to connect their Twitter profiles with Design Hunt will be also able to track their favorite discoveries over time.
