Apple makes the 12.9″ iPad Pro available via its official online refurbished store

As it normally does once a product is so far into its lifetime, Apple today has made the 12.9-inch iPad Pro available via its online refurbished store. The device, which launched 10 months ago, can be had for a discounted price that varies depending on the variant that is chosen.

The 32GB WiFi-only iPad Pro can be had for $679, a $120 discount off the normal $799 price point, and is available in Space Gray, Gold, and Silver. Additionally the 128GB WiFi-only model can be had in the same three colors for $809, a $140 discount. As for cellular offerings, the 128GB variant is going for $919, down $160 from the normal price point.

There are a handful of benefits to buying from Apple’s official online refurbished store versus other third-party retailers. For one, all products include a 1-year warranty through Apple and all products are tested and certified by Apple prior to being sold.

It’s worth noting that we are 10 months into the life cycle of the 12-inch iPad Pro and Apple will more than likely release a new model this fall. We’ve also seen deeper discounts, albeit from resellers, on the iPad Pro. To be 100 percent up-to-date with all of the iPad Pro deals, keep your eyes on 9to5Toys. Nevertheless, if you like play it safe and only buy from Apple, now is the time to do it.

Products sold in the refurbished online store are in limited supply, however, and could sellout very quickly. Apple does refresh availability on a regular basis, though.
