Alongside AirPods, Apple has announced Beats will be launching a range of new headphones with wireless Solo3 and wireless Powerbeats 3. They are also launching a new range called BeatsX, which is a cheaper collection that uses cables. All three use the Apple W1 chip for audio output.

The Powerbeats3 Wireless provide 12 hours of wireless battery life and ideal for workouts. The Solo3’s go are like earmuffs with a connecting band. They are also wireless to the phone. The Solo3’s offer up to 40 hours of battery life and come in four colors.

The BeatsX are slightly cheaper than the PowerBeats with 8 hours of battery life and Fast Fuel charging. BeatsX include a Lightning connector for charging.

The new Powerbeats and BeatsX are not yet available to order. The Beats Solo3 Wireless are available now to buy at the Apple Online Store. There are also new wired headphones, the Beats EP On-Ear, which are cheaper than all three.
