Apple specialists to hold live HomePod question and answer session next week

Apple today announced that it is holding a live HomePod question and answer session next week. The event will be held on its support forums, with specialists available during a four-hour window to answer Homepod-related questions.

As first noticed by MacRumors, Apple specialists will be available via this live Q&A event between 11AM and 3PM PT next week on July 25th, 2018. The specialists will be offering tips on how to use AirPlay 2, create stereo pairs, and much more.

Here’s how Apple describes the question and answer session:

Discover how to make HomePod your own: use AirPlay 2, create a stereo pair, personalize your setup and settings, ask Siri, and more. During this live event, Apple HomePod Specialists will be available to help you get the most from your HomePod.

Apple also offers a breakdown on how to participate in the question and answer session, which simply requires creating a discussion in the HomePod Community forums:

  1. Visit: Go to HomePod Community and browse the discussions
  2. Ask: To start a discussion, sign in or create an account. Click Post > Discussion in the upper-right corner.
  3. Get Help: Apple HomePod Specialists will help with your questions in real time.

The tips and tricks offered through this question and answer program will likely be rather basic and straightforward. Apple specialists already regularly monitor support forums and answer questions, but this program is meant to provide faster and perhaps more conversation-like answers.

If you think you might want to participate in the live HomePod question and answer session, head to the HomePod Community on Apple’s support website right here.
