Instagram brings poll sticker to private messages, allows users to create custom questions

After about a year of the feature being available for Stories, Instagram has today rolled out its handy poll sticker to Direct messages.

Instagram brought the poll sticker to Stories back in October last year. This summer the social media platform expanded on that idea by offering a new question sticker, which is also limited to use in Stories.

Today, Instagram announced via Twitter that users can start using the poll sticker in Direct, with groups as well as just one-on-one conversations. While users might find ways to have fun with polls with just one friend, there could be a lot usefulness in nailing down plans and more with groups in private messages.

Instagram notes users should now find the poll sticker in Direct as long as they’re on the latest app version. If you haven’t used the feature before, check out the video below for how it works.
