What do you think of the new complication-dense face coming to Apple Watch? [Poll]

After Apple confirmed its iPhone event for September 12 this morning, things got a whole lot more exciting as we discovered the first images of the iPhone XS and Apple Watch Series 4. One of the striking new features of Apple’s upcoming wearable is a new information dense watch face that sports up to eight complications.

As we’re expecting around a 15% larger, bezel-less display on the Apple Series 4, this new watch face really packs in the information with a total of eight complications, including the upcoming calendar event laid into the tick-marks.

There’s also more data provided by the curved bars showing things like high and low temperatures for weather under the current temperature and a visual countdown for the timer.

It’s fun to think about how third-party complications will be able to take advantage of the new UI in this watch face, and hopefully others. As Zac mentioned earlier:

The analog watch face shows a total of eight complications around the time and within the clock hands. While we haven’t seen a new digital face yet, it’s likely that Apple has designed more new watch faces to take advantage of the larger display.

However, as useful as a watch face with this information density will be, some might find it overwhelming. How about you? Will you use take advantage of the extra display real estate and use the maximum complications? Or will you opt to remove some of them or just not use this one? Share your thoughts in the poll and comments below?
