Apple Events app updated on Apple TV ahead of September 12 event

Late last week Apple announced its iPhone event for next Wednesday, September 12 at 10 AM PT. We are expecting three new iPhones, an updated Apple Watch with all-new design, and more. The event will be held at Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino.

As with most Apple keynotes, this event will be streamed live through Apple’s website and their Apple Events app for Apple TV. The Apple Events app for Apple TV has today been updated for the upcoming event. The update includes graphics and information about the event. As usual, the app shows the time for the event in your local timezone.

It’s also a great resource to watch previous keynotes. The update is available for all Apple TVs that run tvOS. A variation of the app is also available on older non-App Store connected Apple TVs.

As always, sit tight as 9to5Mac will be covering the event, including all announcements made during and after the event!
