Apple Watch: How to turn off Haptic Crown

The Apple Watch Series 4 introduced a feature that gave you haptic feedback when scrolling on the crown. Whether it be scrolling down a list, or opening an app with the Digital Crown, it’s there.

However, some may dislike the feel or sometimes inconsistency with the Haptic Crown and would like to disable it.

Apple Watch: How to turn off Haptic Crown

  1. On iPhone, open the Watch app. Scroll down and find Sounds & Haptics, tap it.
  2. Find Crown Haptics. Toggle the switch to the Off position.

The Haptic Crown does need some time to get used to, and it does have some inconsistencies at times. Luckily, it is an option that can be disabled.
